Each year since 2000, the Piobaireachd Society of Antigonish has
honoured
the memories of pipers from various communities in Antigonish
County.
Students of piobaireachd prepare special selections to be
performed at the
gravesites, the histories of the tunes to be played are give,
and guest
speakers present short talks about each of the pipers to be
honoured. If you
are planning to attend the Society's next Pipers' Memorial, be
sure to bring
a lawn chair so you can sit back and enjoy the music. A light
luncheon and
the Society's Annual General Meeting follow. For more
